It was a gathering of who’s who last wedneasday, May 17th at the prestigious Eko hotel and suites. Victoria Island Lagos, when the Institute of Directors, Nigeria[IOD Nigeria], an affiliate of the IOD [UK] celebrated it’s 40th anniversary and gala night.
Tagged, “celebrating 40 years of visionary leadership and corporate governance”, the colorful had in attendance former president, Goodluck Jonathan, deputy governor of Lagos state, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat who represented his boss, governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Chairman BUA group, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu.
Other dignitaries who graced the high octane event honored by comedian Gbenga Adeyinka are Dr. Mrs. Ije Jidenma, . IOD’s Council Chair and also Mr. Samuel Yemi Akeju, IOD’s 40th Anniversary Committee Chair and former Health Minister, Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi among others.
The scintillating dinner and gala night had Expert band on bandstand thrilling the highflying guests wit5h some special numbers of evergreen music while comedian Gbenga Adeyinka also held them spellbound with rib cracking jokes.
It was a fun filled and memorable night put together by the institute of Directors, Nigeria[IOD Nigeria] a professional institute which promotes directors, and enhances the economy for businesses.
